It uses the proven Merry Wherry II hull, adds decks, revised framing, and an extra tough build. It's a race winner with slippery waterlines for smooth efficient rowing. The fine entry and soft bilge, combined with constant flare and wide outwales, make for a dry, comfortable ride in less than ideal conditions. Versatile to Row The new interior framing design allows one or two RowWing riggers to be easily shifted for solo rowing, load carrying or doubles rowing. Rigs rest on frames and are secured at the gunwale with a simple fitting. Watertight bulkheads can be fitted with optional hatches for dry storage while providing peace of mind in adverse sea conditions. Built to be Tough New closely spaced frames are both filleted and taped for extra hull strength. The kit includes 1088 marine Okoume plywood parts, mahogany gunwales and transom - all computer cut for a precise fit. Fiberglass hull sheathing, heavy duty interior tape, generous ($330 retail) epoxy supplies are included.
